A couple weeks before finishing massage school, I managed to injure the exact kind of thing I had just spent months learning about. One pop in my shoulder turned into a partial supraspinatus tear, doctor visits, imaging, rehab, and an unexpected lesson in what it feels like to be the person on the other side of the treatment table.
